• Vegas vacations
by
Stanley, August 15, 2008
My aunt Jo and her family are planning a vacation to the US in the coming months. They are thinking of Las Vegas for a week or two. When it comes to Vegas vacations, it can only mean one thing: casinos and lots of it.
Their family had been to China and Korea just a few months ago. In fact, it seems to me they do oversea holidays every 4-6 months. Seems like it though if you ask me. But then again, if your family manages a chain of successful multi-million dollar businesses all over Malaysia and in Singapore too, what would you do with the money? Travelling is definitely one on the list of indulgence. Oohh … envy!

In light of the recent Bar Council forum on Islamic conversion issues and how it was subjected to fierce and hostile demonstration by Malaysian Muslims present to halt the discussion, I’m very disappointed at how things turned out. It was indeed a blessing that [...]

• Waiting for 8GB flash drives to fall below RM60
August 10, 2008
Prices of flash drives keep falling every week. Good. A piece of 8GB Kingston flash drive now fetches a tad over RM70. I’m looking forward to it dipping below RM60 before I’ll take two of them, thank you.
I’ll be using one as a backup storage for baby’s photos and compressed videos which is about 6GBs [...]

We spent 4 days in KL this week and took our baby along. It’s no guessing then it turned out to be a very hectic, tiring and fairly stressful trip taking care of baby stuff. She refused to feed on bottled baby food or milk, refused to nap despite being very tired due to all [...]
