• Chinese New Year away from the city

This Chinese New Year, instead of spending time in the city, a few of our family members and friends decided to take time off from the traffic jams, packed restaurants, crowded malls and drive up to the hills for a camping trip. I hitched a ride in my friend’s 4×4, loaded up my camping gear and off we went to a tea plantation estate for a 3-day stay. It was such a relief from the hustle and bustle that goes with celebrating every Chinese New Year and we truly enjoyed ourselves. Being away from the city during festive seasons should be the way. And I hope we get to it again next year and many more years.
