• Federer hanging on by a thread

It is raining in Wimbledon tennis courts now. The rain brought a stop to the Men’s Wimbledon finals match between Federer and Nadal. I’ll be sitting here at my PC to kill time until the match resumes.

As a Federer fan, it’s heartbreaking to see him down two sets to love. The match stopped at 5-3 in the third set with Federer ahead by a single game. Do I dare pray for a miracle that would see Federer come back from two sets down to win? I would say no. Unless Nadal injures himself or something, I don’t see how Federer could win this one. The consistency, power, accuracy, speed and fitness of Nadal will carry him to his first Wimbledon championship.

Even if the match has yet to end, my bet is 1 to the barbarian southpaw. And nought for the tennis wizard. Federer’s 5-year Wimbledon reign has officially come to an end.
