• Feng Shui wind chime disturbing our baby’s slumber

During dinner last night, I’ve been handed an ultra HUGE wind chime by my mom. To be hung at the window of our baby room. She reminded us numerous times it’s important to hang it by the middle window, not an inch left or right. It’s a Feng Shui thing and wind chimes are part of her arsenal to ward off unauspicious elements. So we did. Trouble is we sleep with our windows open during the nights if it’s cooling enough to not need the air conditioner. And with the wind chime ‘chiming’ away at the slightest breeze, its disturbing our baby girl’s slumber. Take the wind chime down? No way, how can you argue with Feng Shui? If there’s a lesson to be learnt in regards to my mom and her obsession with Feng Shui, I’ll always be on the losing end because there’s no scientifically proven facts to debate against her. I guess we just have to put up with it.
