GoDaddy.com sucks!

You’ve probably heard that .me domain registration opens today. At this very moment, it was 2 hours ago. I tried my luck searching for ani.me domain name and I was shocked it was available! So I proceeded to check out, paid with my credit card and filed the receipt.

Problem was, THE DOMAIN DID NOT APPEAR IN MY ACCOUNT!

GoDaddy.com sent an email to me to explain the error: PROBLEM REGISTERING DOMAIN - DOMAIN NAME IS REGISTERED.

Well if the domain name has been registered, why the heck GoDaddy.com say its available?!

My credit card company verified the payment went through. GoDaddy.com would probably refund my money as credit into my account in a day or two. I wonder if I can get my money out of GoDaddy.com account as this will be the first and last time GoDaddy.com gets my money.

Steer clear from GoDaddy.com and I’d suggest you use NameCheap.com which I’ve been using for years without any problems at all.
