• Is UMNO mocking me with 10 cents per liter petrol price reduction?

I topped up my car petrol tank to full this evening. 10 cents per litre reduction is really pathetic if you ask me. I barely noticed any difference when Abdullah reduced it by 15 cents more than a month ago. Therefore, I won’t expect a 10 cent reduction to make any difference to the fuel gauge needle this time.

The government, like everyone else, raises prices in a flash but when it comes to lowering prices, it will take ages. I’m still favouring Anwar’s promise of lowering petrol price by 50 cents a litre. That’s twice as much reduction as what UMNO has given us so far. Anwar’s 50 cent promise is already significant as a first step towards more petrol subsidy. That’s certainly one reason to vote for Pakatan Rakyat.
