My wife and I went out for dinner with an old friend last night. Someone whom we have not seen for more than 8 years as she went to the US for her studies and settled there ever since. She is now working as an agent for NC health insurance, recently married and has a one year old baby boy.

We had a looonnng dinner and yet it wasn’t enough to catch up on things. We talked about friends, family, career, life with children and more. She’ll be here for holidays until the end of the month so we’re set a couple of dates where we could meet up over a drink to chat again.

Being a health care insurance professional, she touched on how appaling our public healthcare facilities has degraded and that private healthcare cost are rising skyhigh. My wife and I recently dumped most of our insurance policies and switched to an insurance policy that centers around medical and healthcare cover. Apparently, she told us considering our financial background, we did the right thing.
