I had one of the best conversations in a long time time today. I was introduced to a guy called Leonard today and guess what he does? He goes around supermarkets and look for snacks - chocolates, sweets, biscuits, soft drinks. Whenever snack food companies launches something new, be it a new product or packaging, he would buy a dozen of them. Eat it and sell the packaging on eBay. Not only that, he goes to great lengths to obtain imprinted promotional products. Say for instance, when Kit Kat launches a limited edition flavour, he would try to get his hands on some t-shirts worn by promoters, pens, umbrellas, advertisement boards and such. And finally, yes you’ve guessed it, he sells them on eBay and these exceptional items pull in the big bucks for him. It’s kind of a niche category of selling and he seems to be doing it big time. Earning him some serious extra income besides his job.
