• Linux rants again

If it isn’t for BitTorrent I would’ve dumped Linux ages ago. The only saving grace for my Kubuntu box is that it seems to bypass Malaysia’s broadband provider, Streamyx’s bandwidth throttling control making my BitTorrent speed higher than a Windows PC. Don’t ask me why, I don’t know.

I’ve been trying to burn 5 ISOs into CDs this morning using K3B. Up till now I’ve only burned one successfully. Wasted 3 good blank CDs to some unknown errors. k3b has never played well with me. It always give me problems one way or another. Sometimes I can’t access DVDs after burning them. It’s pathetic.

Linux softwares (not the OS mind you) sucks big time if you ask me. My 6 months experience with Kubuntu (a KDE version of Ubuntu) so far has been disappointing. I really can’t recommend folks to switch to Linux, whatever distributions out there. Linux just isn’t ready for the common masses. Period.
