• Permatang Pauh voters just take Barisan Nasional’s money but vote PKR

I really envy the voters who gets to decide the parliamentary seat of Permatang Pauh. I would be delighted to welcome such a pivotal by-election in my constituency as I could surely use a bit of extra pocket money in these trying times.

Many of us are expecting Barisan Nasional to utilise all its resources and trickery to give Anwar Ibrahim a good fight in Permatang Pauh by-election. Vote-buying is synonymous with Barisan Nasional. Bribing people to vote for them. I so envy Permatang Pauh voters for this fact alone.

Ling Liong Sik’s son organised eat-n-drink-all-you-can banquets in towns around Perak as part of his campaign for GE12. A few of my friends went to enjoy the freebie booze mainly. At the end of the day, they still voted against Barisan.

So Permatang Pauh, take all you can from Barisan. Your little town has much to benefit from Barisan this coming by-election, unless they concede defeat and chicken out. But vote for PKR and ensure Anwar Ibrahim his first step towards Putrajaya. Its your chance to make history.
