RPK, Tan Hoon Cheng, Teresa Kok - 3 more reasons why Pakatan Rakyat should seize power

by Stanley, September 12, 2008

I’ve been rather caught up by the sensational politics we’ve seen over the past couple of weeks. But recent events involving Ahmad Ismail, Raja Petra, Sin Chew journalist and Teresa Kok has seriously stunned me. I’m still reeling in a state of disbelief as I witness innocent and honest people who did anything but bad for the nation are locked up behind bars under the draconian ISA.

Raja Petra’s ISA detention wasn’t a big shock to me. On the other hand, Tan Hoon Cheng and Teresa Kok’s arrest is something I didn’t see coming. There is absolutely no logic behind the arrest of Sin Chew journalist Tan Hoon Cheng other than punishing a person who is telling the truth. Need I remind you that the actual culprit, the racist Ahmad Ismail, is now walking in total freedom being given 3 years ‘holiday’ by UMNO? Is this justice I ask you?

Many have doubted Pakatan Rakyat’s strive for power. Many have questioned it’s morality and ethics. MPs who defect to Pakatan Rakyat are labeled disloyal and traitors to their respective constituencies. Anwar is regarded as power-hungry.

By arresting three prominent individuals who represent the ideals of what March 08 has promised, UMNO has erased all doubts (just that 0.01% left) in my mind that Malaysia needs a shift in federal government. To oust such a corrupt, unlawful and evil regime that is UMNO from the face of Malaysia. I am now 100% in support of Pakatan Rakyat to topple Barisan Nasional and form the next federal government. Once Pakatan Rakyat assumes power, I want all those corrupted UMNO bastards to be detained and trialed by law. No need ISA as there’ll be enough evidence and scandals to put many top UMNO bastards behind bars for good. The only purpose left for ISA is to be abolished.

A post-March 08 UMNO is a dying UMNO. The ruling coalition is not humbled by their greatest GE loss in history. Instead of mending their ways of governing, UMNO has turned into a huge mess internally and is hell bent on unleashing its fury on the rakyat to defend themselves from Pakatan Rakyat at all cost. It’s a do or die situation for many of the UMNO corrupts.

I shall repeat this endlessly. Remain calm and do not riot. This is the consensus among the pro-opposition crowd. Do not give UMNO the opportunity to declare a state of national emergency. The last thing we want is inter-racial violence which could ruin what Pakatan Rakyat has fought so hard for.
