• Shocking Malaysia General Election 2008

It’s still HAWT! The topic my friends and family never fail to bring up during our conversations is the Malaysia General Election 2008 poll results. My entire family has been staunch opposition supporters for as long as I can remember. This is my 2nd general election and no doubt who I’m voting for.

People around me are still in awe that the opposition alliance has managed to deny the ruling coalition a two-third majority. With that, the ruling coalition’s power to make absolute decisions in the parliament is effectively denied. And that my friends, is good news for Malaysia. It’s a great time to be a Malaysian now.
