• Stumbled upon the remains of an old hobby

Do you have a hobby of collecting stuff like promotional pens, pencil or matchboxes? I used to collect stationary items like pens or pencils when I was small. It started when I was in primary school and I sort of gave it up when I got bored with it during high school. I had always wondered where the heck it all went. My mom must’ve thrown it all that rubbish away I presumed all this time. That’s what I though until this very afternoon. I was rummaging in the basement store room for a spanner when I accidently knocked down stacks of boxes and made a mess in there. As it turned out, those boxes contain the pens and pencils I’ve collected throughout my early teen years. They were never thrown away, just buried deep inside the dark store room. I didn’t realise how huge my collection was. Anyway, it’s all rubbish now as finding them doesn’t mean I’m rekindling my interest in the hobby. Maybe I’d sell them in eBay. Yea, that’s what I’ll do I think. Someone out there might treasure these stuff.
