• The maid’s in a bad mood

My mom’s Indonesian maid is driving her crazy lately. The maid has been showing her dissatisfaction lately by the way she’s acting around the house according to my mom. We think it’s most likely due to $$$. Hey, what else can it be.

It happened like this. 3 months ago, I helped her maid booked a ticket to Palembang departing sometime around August. I checked out various travel deals on the web and got a pretty cheap flight with Air Asia. So everyone was happy. But weeks later, her maid decided to fly home on September instead to coincided with Hari Raya season. Well, I changed the departure date and was charged an additional RM200+ for the change. My mom wasn’t going to bear the cost because of her being fickle with her departure dates. Tempers flare I guess. IMO, serves her right for thinking it over before booking.
