When Perak’s Pakatan Rakyat decided to erect a plaque in front of the raintree of democracy, I told myself to visit it soon as I fear the tree might be uprooted very soon, nevermind the plaque. By whom? I guess we know full well which political party is blatantly showing an anti-democratic stance throughout this entire Perak constitutional crisis resulted from Barisan Nasional’s coup d’etat of Perak from the hands of Pakatan Rakyat.
Unfortunately, the plague is damaged sooner than I imagined. So today, I drove my wife and baby girl to catch a glimpse of the vandalised plague of democracy before any further damage is inflicted. As we arrive at the site, YB Ngeh Koo Ham coincidently arrives to assess the damaged plague. The multi-racial crowd present exchanged a few words and handshakes with YB Ngeh.
