It’s been a blessed year

by Stanley, December 31, 2009

With the arrival of our baby boy in Oct, 2009 has been a blessed year for our little family indeed. Although we had to stay at home during both Christmas and New Year’s eve taking care of our kids, we don’t feel like we’re missing out on fun and excitement.

On New Year’s eve, my wife and I were pretty exhausted at five minutes to 12am, or should I say five minutes to the year 2010, we just sat down on the dinner table eating our supper and having a nice quiet chat. We didn’t come up any new year resolution list for 2010. Bringing up the kids and hoping they grow up healthy is all we hope for in the year to come. And a lot less crying involved.

Fortunately, my wife and I aren’t the type of people that crave for entertainment or socialising. I [...]

RAM prices going up

December 11, 2009
Several of my clients have hold back their RAM purchases. Especially for clients who are on a tight budget. The sweet spot of RAM size nowadays is around 4GB, two sticks of 2GB, but I honestly think they can get 2GB now and wait for prices to drop before getting another 2GB. Unless Photoshopping, video [...]
