• A schoolmate is back in town

It’s been years since I last saw my schoolmate Gerald who moved to Singapore shortly after graduating from university. We kept in touch via emails and online chats throughout these years. But the distance allows us to meet and catch up only once a year. Mostly during Chinese New Years. I received news of his job posting to my hometown about a month ago. Well, he and his family has moved to a rented house last week. With the help of long distance movers he hired, it took only three days for them to clean up the house and settle in. He has invited us to dinner this weekend and I’m looking forward to catching up with him.
