• Allen’s baby communion

My wife and I were invited to the church this morning by Allen, our university mate, to his son’s first holy communion ceremony. This is the second time we’ve received acommunion invitation. It’s great to meet up with old friends. We love nothing more than catching up with how life been treating us all. But unfortunately, we couldn’t stick around longer for chats because we have to rush home to take care of our baby. My mother-in-law who babysit for us this morning had to leave before eleven. Allen’s situation is kinda similar to mine, both of us have a 2 1/2 year old girl and a little baby boy. Both of us know firsthand how tied down we are to our family responsibilities. To the extent, we barely able to meet up over a cuppa coffee twice a year.
