• Annoying mosquitos

The dengue epidemic in KL has reached new heights. Our family had a scare when my wife’s 3 year old nephew developed red spots and rashes all over his body after a day of fever. Luckily it turned out to be chicken pox. Despite installing mosquito nets over our doors and windows, some still manage to sneak in whenever doors are left open for more than a second. I don’t use toxic stuff like Shelltox or Ridsect around the house. I prefer not to. I wish there are ways to trap mosquitos using strong adhesive trapping surface like lizard, cockcroaches or flour moth traps sort of devices. Preferrably non-toxic ones. It’s really scary dengue is getting so out of control these days. Worst still is that mosquitos seem to have an acquired taste for toddler blood as I’ve noticed whenever there’s one in our room, it bites the baby instead of us. Nine out of ten times.
