• Baby fell flat on her face

My baby girl had a fall today. Nothing serious thank god apart from a swelled bump on her forehead. Just a clumsy foot tripping and had her falling face down towards the floor. She broke the fall with her hands but it wasn’t enough and her head knocked against the cold hard marble floor. She cried her lungs out but was back on her feet in less than 5 minutes. My wife and I actually discussed about having the living room and stairs covered with area rugs to make it safer for babies. I agreed to have the stairs carpeted but not the living room as maintaining it would be a tough chore.
