• Better brakes

I’m not exactly a fan of after market car acccessories or performance parts to tune up my car but when it comes to enhancing safety for my family, I’m all ears. The stock disc brakes in my car are hardly anything to shout about. In fact, the size of the brake discs just doesn’t inspire confidence and it certainly feels lacking when I hit the brakes hard. Which I did unfortunately a few times. I took my car to the workshop today to have my brake pads checked and at the same time enquired about upgrades available for my car brakes. The shop owner carries a few popular brands - Brembo, Neuspeed and such. The solution is pretty simple though, for greater stopping power, get bigger disc rotors and pads. Something I planned to do very soon. In the meantime, I’ll be shopping around for bigger discounts.
