• Fluorescent tubes to go

While shopping for some light fixtures with my wife today, we sort of got into a casual argument about replacing dull and ugly fluorescent light tubes with fancy down lights in our home office area. She’s perfectly fine with the current tubes illuminating our home office confines and see no reason to spend extra to have down lights installed into our ceiling. While I on the other hand, reckon a bit of renovating would do wonders for our home office ambience. On top of introducing down lights, I would also like a minor overhaul of our home office. Wall mounting our LCD monitors is a start. A fresh coat of rose white paint next. I’ll be spending the next couple of weeks persuading, convincing (ok! begging!) my wife to give the go signal for the works. Wish me luck.
