• Half a day wasted at the OB’s clinic

I’ve always accompanied my wife to the OB whenever I can. But after yesterday, I may have to think twice before agreeing to do so. We arrived at the clinic at 1.30pm, only to find out the OB left for the delivery ward due to an emergency labor at 10.30am and is now having lunch. Therefore, earlier appointments in the morning session were pushed forward and delayed for more than two hours. My wife’s number was 31 and the queue is currently at less than number 10. Moving very slowly. At long last, the nurse called out my wife’s name at 6.30pm. We waited five long hours for our turn.
