• Let by-election fever continue

Penanti’s by-election is pretty much set. Although Najib and UMNO want you to believe that by-elections are a waste of time, money and efforts, I have no problem if by-elections are held every couple of months. Tons of money are already embezzled by UMNO. What is a few million of dollars allocated for by-elections.

I welcome more by-elections because it goes to show how oppressing and bankrupt of ideas Barisan Nasional is during campaigning. We need to keep in mind how water cannons are used to disperse crowds at opposition speeches. Do not forget certain names are now not to be mentioned during campaigning. By-election campaigns are a showcase of how bankrupt of ideas and facts Barisan Nasional is. How desperate Barisan Nasional is to the extent of silencing the opposition by whatever means necessary. BN has no answers and explanations for the barrage of issues brought up by PR during campaigns. BN’s only strategy is to twist the facts but are you still naive enough to let them insult your intelligence?

The winning majority for PR in Bukit Gantang and Bukit Selambau increased despite heavy campaigning and financial promises by Barisan Nasional. Not even Mahathir can help Barisan Nasional.

Penanti by-election is literally a walkover for PKR. I can’t blame Najib for chickening out and using the excuse of wasting resources. He knows full well that Penanti is a battle UMNO will lose just as bad as they did in March 08 2008.
