• Mods I spent on my car

I’m not exactly a fan of put unnecessary modifications to my car. Things like spoilers, fins and such don’t appeal to me. I also pass on automotive performance parts, especially those which enhance the engine and power. The fact that they are expensive further convinces me to avoid them at the moment. It ain’t a cheap hobby and my car spent its entire lifetime on public roads. Not the race track.

What I do spend on my car is things that aren’t obvious to the naked eye. I’ve spent quite thousands of dollars on sound-proofing, structural foaming, suspension and window tinting. All these modifications are meant to enhance only one aspect, that is comfort. I spend hours on the road every day and it’s only logical that the cabin I’m stuck in is as comfortable and pleasant as can be. I’ve also thrown in a good amount of money to upgrade my stock in-car entertainment unit. Being able to enjoy good sound, comfort, reduced heat and a quieter ride every day makes it money well spent if you ask me.
