• Not helping at all, Karpal

Karpal Singh is firing on all cylinders blaming Anwar Ibrahim for the starting the party hopping culture and ultimately backfiring with the defeat of Perak state government in the hands of Barisan Nasional.
First off, I gotta say Karpal Singh is a rare breed of politicians these days. Loyal and a true fighter for the sake of our nation irrespective of race or religion.
But to take a swipe at Anwar Ibrahim at such a crucial moment only provides fodder for Barisan Nasional’s media to highlight discord in Pakatan Rakyat. This just made the front page headlines for tomorrow’s papers.
Party hopping is frowned upon, that I agree. Politicians who switch allegience is betraying the people who voted them in their respective constituencies. Let’s pretend 916 was never promised. What assurance can you give me that Barisan Nasional won’t buy over opposition members just like what happened to Perak a few days ago?
It is silly to put the blame squarely on Anwar Ibrahim arguing on ethics, principles and law. Pakatan Rakyat is fighting a dirty war. They are up against a racist and corrupt political juggernaut so strong that even the royals are afraid of. Is this really time to make a fuss over Anwar’s actions?
There are so many things wrong with UMNO that for the sake of Malaysia, it has to be defeated by hook or by crook. UMNO has got their dirty hands in the judiciary, main stream media, anti-corruption agency, police force, election committee and apparently the royals too. How can you expect a fair and square fight against UMNO? Things are only going to get worst when Najib becomes PM.
