• Should have got life insurance early

Many years ago, a friend of mine who is also an insurance agent asked me what would happen to my family if I die and started showing life insurance quotes to my face. I brushed him off by telling him stop talking about death and just enjoy the drinks and meals. Financial planning is not something I paid much attention to back during my early 20’s. But now with a family of my own I love so much, life has a way of making me see just how ignorant I was back then. I eat healthy, exercise and live on a budget because of them. I need to work my ass off until I’m 45 to be able to afford sending my kids to university and better healthcare. They depend on me for a better and stabler future. In short, I could have started a policy much earlier, a decade earlier but I didn’t.
