• Travel insurance to the rescue

Travel insurance isn’t something on top of the list of most vacationers. Travel insurance is useful for medical cost coverage if you become ill when travelling abroad. My friend Pete had an accident while vacationing overseas about a month ago. He was injured pretty badly and had to be hospitalised for nearly 2 weeks. His health insurance, for some reason, didn’t approve his medical bill coverage but luckily his travel insurance did, to some extent. Although it didn’t cover the entire medical cost, it saved him more than ten grand!
