Legalising sports betting and awarding the gambling license to crony Vincent Tan is another way for UMNO to make some easy money. While they are still in power, UMNO is using every opportunity still available to plunder as much money from Malaysia. After all, who knows what will happen to them after GE13.

This time Najib lost big time. After much rationalising the need for a sports betting license for months, UMNO supreme council has decided otherwise and this is a huge slap to his face.

What irked me most is UMNO’s excuse for legalising gambling. To satisfy Chinese love of gambling?! I am Chinese and I f%$king hate gambling!

If UMNO has ever had the welfare of Chinese in mind, please start by addressing the need for more non-Malay education scholarship allocation.

Open up project tenders so that all Malaysians have a chance to bid on lucrative projects should they deserve it.

Government jobs these days, why so few non-Malays occupying such jobs?

My kid will be going to school soon, I would like Bahasa Malaysia not be made compulsory in milestone exams. And I bet I’m not alone on this one. I would prefer my kids to put more effort into Mandarin and English. Can you approve this?

But no, UMNO went for legalising gambling for the sake of the Chinese? F%$k you, UMNO!

Gambling is a shitty activity no matter how you look it. If there’s any community within your country that indulges in gambling, you as government should act upon it. Do raids, close down illegal gambling haunts and jail the culprits. Put up more public awareness campaigns to remind the people how destructive gambling can be. NOT LEGALISE IT!

The opposition and right-minded people of Malaysia has won this fight. We are reminded time and time again how far we have progressed. No unreasonable laws can be passed without asking us first. Online media is now key for the people to be aware of what’s going on in our country. We now have a stronger opposition to fight against stupid and sinister policies made by UMNO government. These are crucial to our nation. We have taken big steps in our fight to topple a corrupted dictator government. Keep the momentum and god help us.
