Marvellous! Roger Federer wins another Grand Slam title and that makes him two more titles clear of Sampras’s record of 14.

It felt like only yesterday when my wife (then girlfriend) and I were watching him on TV playing his Wimbledon 2003 semi-finals against Roddick. That match was an eye-opener for me. Federer schooled Roddick good in that match. I remember saying to myself how could anyone do such damage to Roddick. And to dish it out so easily. Federer then went on to win Wimbledon 2003, his first of many grand slam wins to come.
