Whenever we take our little girl shopping, to Tesco for instance, we avoid aisles with barcode scanner installed for shoppers to check prices of goods. She has this habit of playing with the scanner. She’d take her bar of chocolates, wave it in front of the scanner just to hear the sound. I remember one time she played with it for a good 5 minutes and when we forced her to go, she cried so loud shoppers were looking at us like a freak show.
