• From DVD player to HDD media player

Our DVD player is dead, alas. All it did for the past year was play cartoon or children shows all day long. My daughter is now using my laptop to watch her favourite cartoons. Tomorrow I’ll be shopping for a HDD media player instead of a DVD player. Most cartoons are downloaded from the internet and they come in all sorts of format. I will be buying a HDD media player that is capable of playing a slew of popular video formats - mkv, mp4, avi etc. Another plus is I’ll never have to look for and swap DVDs again when my daughter wants to watch a particular cartoon.
