I wasn’t given a list of car insurance companies when I bought my car back in 2005. The sales agent, a friend of my dad, handled everything from roadtax, car number registration to insurance cover. I would’ve picked another insurance company if I had bothered about it. The premiums I’m paying is not the best in the market. I should have consulted a trusted insurance agent back or compared a few quotations before deciding.
