• Time for a new PC
by Stanley, October 26, 2010
My aging Sempron PC gave me some problems the past few days. The PC hangs for no reason. After a while, I remember I plugged my WiFi receiver into a different USB port a few days ago. That might be the cause of these problems. So I unplugged it and tried a different USB port. It’s been two days now. My PC is working flawlessly. However, I have decided it’s time to buy a new system. I’m looking around for the best prices for an AMD Sempron 140, a mATX 785g chipset motherboard and 2GB DDR3 RAM. This combo is really nothing to shout about I know. It’s among the lowest specs these days. But it’s sufficient for some most of the things I do on my PC - emails, programming, photo editing, browsing, internet messaging, bittorrent and watching videos.
