• What makes me fume these days

The kids.

When the workload piles up, the last thing you want is the kids to constantly demand your attention from morning until midnight.

I can only think when I get uninterrupted hours in a stretch. Say, two to four hours without any disturbance. Nowadays, I don’t get that sort of luxury during the day time. My only hope is after midnight hours, after the kids have gone to bed.

Its 1am now. My daughter is still tossing and turning on the bed. Refusing to sleep even after forty minutes of story-telling time. Now I don’t know what sort of children you’ve got, mine doesn’t succumb to bedtime stories or lullabies. In fact, I’m beginning to think that children dozing off during bedtime stories, is a fairy tale itself.

I am very annoyed after five story books and yet she wants more. I refused to read another story book and demanded she lie down and sleep.

I will be sitting in front of my PC till 4am tonight to rush some work. Every day I pray I’d get to be free from all domestic and parenting responsibilities by midnight. That’s all I hope for.
