Warehouse sale

by Stanley, April 26, 2011

I accompanied my wife and sister to a warehouse sale this morning. Plenty of designer label clothings with prices slashed as much as 80% were on sale. It was the first day and as usual the crowd was huge. This is by far the biggest warehouse sale I’ve been to around my neighbourhood. The men’s section was small compared to the ladies. It took me less than 30 mins to shop around and I was out of there after grabbing two shirts and a pair of jeans. I waited in a coffee shop while my wife and sister took their time to browse. By 11am, it was too crowded and we decided to leave. My wife bought two dresses, two tops, an apple bottoms jeans, two pairs of Levis jeans and one hand bag. Even after the price slash, we had a very expensive round of shopping.

Giving up another assignment

April 7, 2011
I have turned down another client’s request to write an article about jQuery + PHP for WordPress plugin development. The pay is fairly good for a series of short tutorial articles. And I presume it will direct a lot of quality traffic to my sites. But I have to pass simply because I’m not in [...]
