• PC sound system upgraded to hifi speakers and subwoofer

I’ve finally upgraded my computer sound system to proper Hi-Fi grade bookshelf and subwoofer speakers. I’ve also installed a Creative X-Fi Xtreme Audio soundcard for more decent audio output. Well, anything is better than on-board sound I guess. I play mostly compressed audio - mp3s, FLACs and all - from my PC and iPad, so my audio quality expectations are low. But this upgrade produces sound quality that is night and day compared to what I experience using cheap PC speakers. Well worth the money spent in my opinion. I’m very satisfied with my current setup although many hi-fi enthusiasts wouldn’t even bat an eyelid.
