Tesco has got me again. Quite often, the prices on Tesco products confuses me and I end up paying more only to realise it when I check through the receipt. Last night it happened again. There is a baby fair going on and we bought 3 sets of pyjamas for our baby boy. They were from the promotional shelf and there’s a 50% discount. After checking out, we realise we had paid full price for them. I asked the cashier to run the products through the barcode scanner again and the full price, without discount, is shown. Not satisfied we seek help from customer service and showed them the discount banner over the rack of pyjamas. To cut the story short, management admitted their mistake and gave us the 50% discount. Don’t be too sure of the prices of items you buy, despite having them scanned before you pay.
