• Engadget lowering iPad 2 speculations
by Stanley, February 24, 2011
As 2nd of March draws near, Engadget has lowered expectations of what improvements we’ll see in iPad 2. According to their so-called reliable sources, Engadget is speculating the iPad 2 won’t spot a higher resolution or SD card slot.
I was looking forward to a hi-res Retina display screen upgrade. So much hype went into retina displays as of late, I expected it to be in iPad 2. My gut feeling still tells me iPad 2 will get hi-res retina display. Apple’s tablet competitors are already offering sharper screens.
Rumor has it iPad 2 will get an A5 processor. A step up from A4 but still no dual-core. RAM is speculated to be increased to 512MB, nothing to shout about IMO when Android competitors are offering 1GB already.
