• Firefox 9 beta still sucks

I’ve been using Firefox 9.0 Beta 6 for a week now and I’m afraid the problems with browser locking up and crashing, is still bugging me. I’m now downloading Firefox 9.0 and will begin testing it tonight. But to be honest, my faith in Firefox is fading fast.

By far the most annoying thing for me is browser windows occasionally fail to restore. I stopped playing flash games, Cityville in particular, with Firefox. I play them in Chrome and use Firefox mainly for work and browsing. Chrome seems to handle memory intensive use, like playing flash games, better than Firefox. Firefox, after a long period of use, takes forever to exit and occasionally locks up annoyingly.

The only plugin keeps me hanging onto Firefox is Downthemall. If I do give up on Firefox one day, this plugin will be the only reason I’m not uninstalling it.
