• PERKASA Ibrahim Ali injects racism into BERSIH 2.0

UMNO blame non-Malays for everything. The upcoming BERSIH 2.0 rally for fair and clean election involve Malays, Chinese, Indians and other races. Involves Muslims, Buddhists, Christians and any other religions. It is very clear what BERSIH rallies for and has the support of multi-racial Malaysians. Yet, UMNO’s outsourced racist voice, PERKASA emphasized that Chinese refrain from taking part in BERSIH 2.0 rally. PERKASA warned anything could happen to the Chinese and they had better stay home or else.

PERKASA’s Ibrahim Ali message is very clear despite him saying the opposition media has twisted the meaning of his words. The opposition media such as MKini or Malaysian Insider has never spinned facts the way Utusan spins it. Ibrahim Ali intends to inject racism into BERSIH 2.0 and again, the Chinese are targeted. And as we move up the power hierarchy, PERKASA is endorsed by UMNO who stands to benefit most in the food chain should another May 13 incident occurs.

For decades the Chinese, the next biggest race in Malaysia, has been made the enemies of Malays by UMNO. This perception is played over and over again like a broken record. UMNO often threatens the Chinese with a repeat of May 13. It cannot get more seditious than this. And yet Ibrahim Ali is free as a bird. We must change this. A reformed election committee is the best place to start.
