When you have toddler in the house, it is very important that all electrical outlets are covered up. This is one of the many child proofing measures every parent must practise. My 2yo son is the perfect sample of how toddlers seem to be attracted to electrical outlets like fish to water. When we’re out in public places, if he spots one you can bet he’ll be running off to stick a finger in the socket. By the time he can crawl on the floor, we bought special switch plate covers with retractable safety shutter to child proof every electrical outlets he can reach. Better to be safe than sorry. Electrical outlets are no joke and can cause serious injuries to toddlers.
