• WiFi only tablets suit my needs for now

The recent buzz about how awesome the Motorola Xoom tablet made me look into alternative choices apart from Apple iPad. The Xoom is impressive in specs no doubt. But one very apparent gripe I have about Motorola Xoom is the lack of Wi-Fi only model. I have no intention of paying for 3G internet plan as I do not need to be connected all the time. I will look for wifi cafes to surf the web with my tablet. This will save me a bit of money and freedom not have to be tied down to a 2-year carrier contract. Also typically Wi-Fi only variants should be cheaper. I hope manufacturers give us a choice of WiFi only tablets and hopefully make them cheaper models.
