Looking at my kids’ fingers swiping and tapping away on their beloved iPad, I have to say computer gaming for children is a far cry from the days of Nintendo game and watch. As an 80’s child, I remember Nintendo game and watch was the gadget we kids crave. And the toy all of us kids wish our parents would buy. It was expensive considering one handheld device equal one game. There’s no such thing as downloading a new game every day back then. You really had to choose your favourite game carefully as you’d be stuck with it. Unless you’re lucky to get another game and watch the following Christmas. Fast forward two decades later, our kids have iPad and get a daily dose of Facebook games from their computers. Best of all, they get to play different games every couple of days from the AppStore mostly for free, or the better ones at $0.99.
