Our new treadmill

by admin, July 4, 2008

Guess what, I finally gave in bought a treadmill today. A very basic model with relatively standard functions. These exercise equipment are not cheap even for such a no-frills model. I’m paying for it in two installments.

It may cost a bomb but this is one purchase my wife didn’t object. In fact, she has always wanted a treadmill. Between taking care of our baby, house chores and work, we barely have time to jog at the park. And we have our increasing weight and my expanding waistline to prove it. Given the choice of diet pills and slimming down the old fashioned way, we’d prefer the latter.

Out of curiosity, I started to keep tabs on baby stuff - organic food, baby toiletries, medical expenses, [...]

While watching a Blue-ray movie on my LCD TV last night, all of a sudden a very disturbing blue streak appeared at the top part of the screen. So I called my friend over for some diagnostic help and as it turned out, the trouble might be the HDMI cable. There seems to be nothing [...]

I don’t like Green Tea, it’s just a habit

June 19, 2008
Do you drink Green Tea regularly? I’ve been a coffee drinker for as long as I can remember. A year ago, I started to include Green Tea as addition to my daily cuppas. Frankly, I’m not a tea fan nor do I really like the taste. It all started when I tried lipovox, a dieting [...]

Another friend runs into financial trouble

June 14, 2008
A friend of mine which I shall not name came to me yesterday to talk over some stuff about mortgage. My wife worked in finance before so she knew quite a bit about home mortgage. We thought he wanted to talk about acquiring loans to buy a house but unfortunately it’s the way round. He [...]
