My in-laws house underwent some minor work to repair some old wooden shutters. 15 years of rain and shine took it’s toll on them. The shutters are barely usable and if not repaired, it might just break apart when you least expect it. Instead of replacing the wooden shutters with wooden ones again, they used vinyl shutters instead. Admittedly, I was somewhat skeptical when they said they’re using some sort of ‘fake’ wood material. Upon closer inspection, I have to say the material and finishing ain’t all that bad.

May 4, 2008” … We have the truth on our side. We have the facts. And we know my father is innocent. That is my campaign. Not to spread further rumours nor hate … ” Rowena Razak’s blog post If there’s anyone who knows the truth, nothing but the truth, it’ll be the Razak Baginda family. That’s probably [...]

• Scrap Malaysia parliament live-telecast? Hell no!
May 1, 2008IMO, Ahmad Shabbery Cheek’s threatening to cancel parliament live-telecast is denying my rights, as a Malaysia citizen, to view parliament proceedings. The live telecast wouldn’t have become a reality if the opposition had not denied Barisan Nasional it’s 2/3 majority I’m sure. The first ruckus came when the [...]

• My friend’s new PC
April 26, 2008My friend bought a new PC today. The specs were Pentium Core 2 Duo E6600, 2GB DDR2 667Mhz RAM, 250GB HDD and the rest pretty standard stuff. The motherboard is a bit too shabby, all-in-one with built-in video and soundcard. So safe to say, audio and video, especially gaming wise, sucks. He wanted to play some [...]
