A good night’s sleep

by admin, July 5, 2008

Wow, I just woke up from a 12 hour sleep. I can’t remember the last time I slept that long. My partners and I had to service a faulty networking facility out of town for the past 3 days on-site. For 2 nights, I came home at 2am and by the time I hit the sack, it’s nearly 3am. It’s back to work again the next morning at 7am. It was exhausting no doubt. Thank god for coffee and I even resort to a bit of energy pills to keep me going. Anyway, thanks to a great night’s sleep I feel refreshed.

Baby tantrums, a frustrated wife and the punching bag husband

It’s 9.15pm and my wife has been trying to put our baby girl to bed for the past 1 hour. I’m sitting in my work area just outside the bedroom with the noise of my baby wailing at the top of her lungs refusing to sleep. I’m bracing myself for whoever comes out from that [...]

Babies are expensive

June 23, 2008
It’s scary how family expenses could grow when one welcomes a baby into the family. I’m not someone who keep tabs on every thing we buy in our household but lately the cost of living has spiked. Out of curiosity, I started to keep tabs on baby stuff - organic food, baby toiletries, medical expenses, [...]
